It comes with a letter which, among other things, states the following:

"Enclosed please find your pre-paid, pre-addressed envelope for returning Superman: The Movie DVD (Disc #1) and Superman III DVD to Warner Home Video."

"Please return only these two discs in the enclosed envelope."

I went ahead and watched Superman before I have to send it off... just in case it takes longer to get it back.

I just dropped it off at the post office. With the slow circulation of mail during the holidays, I don't anticipate receiving them until Mid-late January at the earliest.

My return envelope has a five-digit number hand written above the return address; is this the same with everyone else?

^ No. That number identifies whose discs they're getting. When you called in, they gave you that number.

Mine came with a 63 cent stamp on it. For either envelope? Mine just came with 1 envelope and I managed to fit Superman I and III in there with no problems.

I too received my envelope. Since its going to Oxnard, CA which is less than an hour away from my house, I'd like to hope that it only takes a week to get the corrected discs, but somehow I think it will take much much longer.

The set is OOP, the wrong disk is going to be worth big $$$! I am keeping my disks and buying the single versions to have the complete set! Don't send the errors!

Be serious! First of all my understanding is that the S 3 disc is just the previously released version, instead of the one with extras. And S1 the movie is just an omission of an audio track. Worth big $$$...I am sorry but I don't think so. I am returning my discs in the envelope I recieved and getting my corrected discs as planned!

Same here. 1 envelope with the 63-cent stamp attached.

I received 3 envelopes, all with stamps, all with the same hand written number.
Go figure.

The wrong disc isn't going to be worth anything, trust me.

There has to be a market for something before it can be considered valuable.

Just being rare doesn't MAKE something valuable.

I daresay no one's going to pay for that faulty Superman III disc, today or 100 years from today.

It may be one of a kind- but it's something no one really wants.

How much is a mis-framed "Back to the Future" DVD worth today, eh?

Especially considering the content of the faulty Superman III disc is the same as the now obsolete old SIII disc. If the disc had some special feature that was unavailable elsewhere like the recalled Ed Wood disc or the recalled Bond LD's then it might have some value. I believe the corrected set will be worth more. 2 years from now if you find this set second hand, you will want to know you are buying the corrected set. Maybe in 100 years it will have some value, but in 100 years, will you care?

I got my envelope today too. Glad to see a stamp on it. I will only send disc #1 back as I had the correct S3 disc in the box I exchanged for dents at target.

Nah, the S3 faulty DVD will not be worth any major dollars probably it will just be collectible 10+ years from now and maybe, just maybe by chance fetch $50 or less on eBay. I was just happy to get rid of it and get the correct DVD in the mail soon!
